Recommended Breakfasts for Diabetic

By the time that you knew that you have diabetes, everything will change starting from your lifestyle and of course, to the food that you eat. But it doesn’t mean that diabetic must eat the same old boring and bland breakfast the whole time. Below are some of the recommended menus that you can eat in the morning. These foods have the right nutrients that you need while preventing you from having problems or complications later.

First Menu – 2 pieces of toasted bread spread with peanut butter, a small banana, a cup of coffee or tea. Make sure that you use low fat milk if you want to add it in your breakfast drink.

Second Menu – wheat bread (you can toast it or not), choose between egg or 1/4 cup of cottage cheese

Third Menu – half of a small banana mixed with half cup of oatmeal and half cup of skimmed milk

Take control of your diabetes without compromising your health. Eat right especially if you have a health condition like diabetes.
