Artificial sugars like Equal and Nutrasweet are the best sweetening options for those who are sweet-tooth diabetics. Not only that these artificial sweeteners can add that sweet flavor but it can also prevent other complications caused by too much sugar in the body as well. However, some people avoid using these artificial sweeteners because they fear that they might get bladder cancer when they consume it.

Studies showed that there is no connection between cancer and the artificial sweeteners. It was only the laboratory animal that was diagnosed with bladder tumor after the experiment. To date, there are no cases, among humans taking these artificia sweeteners, that resulted to such health conditon.

So if you have diabetes, don’t limit yourself to lifeless coffee or cakes. You too can still enjoy a sweet life, thanks to the artificial sweeteners!
